type s piston clearance
stock size flat valves?
If they are stock size flat valves I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be a problem anyway, they are still stock size, the only thing that changed is that the valve is flat.

Yeah. Unless they started to make dome valves now?

I have type S pistons on an h23 with an h22 head, the piston stick out of the deck a little and the dome comes out a lot. I used a thicker cometic head gasket cause I didnt like to see the pistons sticking out of the deck . I have a Pure tunning valve train and stage 3 crower cams. 1200 miles and the car runs fine so far, I was always scared of the same thing, so i got the cometic gasket, but not sure if it's nessesary, I just did it to be safe..
