Went to the acura dealership to get a key made, then down to fries electronics
and then to the blockbuster. After I left Blockbuster I herd a weird squealing noise.
I thought that my fan belt was going bad, but a weird knocking noise started and
my car started to shake a little. When I got home I checked all around and found
two lugs missing from my front passenger rim, and one missing from the back.
The others were loosened up. I think the thieves must have gotten scared. I don't
know where the attempted robbery had taken place. Man I'm lucky that no
damage
had occurred during my drive.

When was the last time you took your wheels off? I know some fool that thought someone tried to steal his wheels when he didn't trq them down right.

Post a pic, I HIGHLY doubt they're that hard with the tools they use these days.

The Mcguards are pattern threaded... a special key that goes into that pattern, locks itself which lets you turn it.
Now, i highly doubt theres a tool out there you can use to successfully take it off ESPECIALLY in the middle of the night 2-3am where thieves rely on sheer 'SILENCE'... you'd have to bang something on them and make alot of noise!

theres a well know company that makes a tool that can take it off.
besides one lock wont deter the pro's.
but 4 different locks may turn them away.....(im 4 lug
)(i spit on thieves daily)
mcgard #24026 if you wanted them in black.

TRRRRRUUUUEEEE THAT...back when i used to work for just tires, people would come in with a wheel lock on their wheel (after losing their wheel lock) and expect us to have something that fit, which in some cases we do, but most of the times we don't. and that's when we gotta bang a wheel lock remover onto the wheel lock to force it out...that's a very good point 01ITR-1268

I haven't taken the wheels off since I've bought the car, which was about a year
ago. And since one lug nut from the back was missing and two from the front also
other lugs were loosend up, I assumed that some one was trying to jack my
wheels.

yea, same thing at Pep Boys. people get pissed at u cause they lost their key to the locks and then we have to charge to take them off.
but then again, i cant tell u how many times i took the key for the locks off my old civic to remove wheels of customers cars. VERY SCARY.
my r has two keys to the locks, i thought they only came 1 to the pack, i wander how another of the same design showed up
