i had knee surgery an it has caused me to have to drive a automatic .i am wondering if you can have a lsd automatic transmission an what are the downsides to thta combination if it is possible.

 

prolly can, wouldnt waste the time nor cash unless you are going to have a high HP car talking 225+ at least

 

Call a dealership and figure out if the differential is the same between the auto and manual cars. If it is then you've got something to work with.

 

im thinkin of building a turbo'd gsr with about 250hp

 

sure you can... you can put lsd in an automatic.

the thing is that power will be slipping through the torque convertor, therefore i'd suggest you get a good lock-up type of torque convertor.

 

All cars today already got a lockup torque converter (check the Helms, we have lockup converter).

The problem in auto is it being taller gear ratio and more pumping lost, that is something you cannot recover but oh well, getting around is important right?

What happen? Minding telling us what surgery you got? I will keep you in my prayer.
