First post!

I just put a full coldair intake onto my girlfriend's '94 Prelude, and it was a pain in the ***. But anyway, Now that it's installed, it's having idle problems. I started it up and it revs to 2k, and falls, and revs, and falls. It runs and drives fine, but at idle it does that for 10 or so revs, and then idles fine. ....then it might start doing it again, maybe not.

It might be something do to with the vaccuum actuator thing on this big stupid box that was right over the splash guard. Although I have no idea what purpose it served.

I've heard of this happening on Hondas, and this guy I know had a del Sol that did it after he put a cold air on it, but how do I fix this? Michelle's gonna kill me.

vacuum leak.

Did you plug in the vacuum line that goes on top of the intake?

 

I think I clamped it, but I didn't plug the hole on the actual intake manifold.
