just wondering if they are good or bad compared to kragen's and autozone brake pads. i dont know much about brake pads, so any help is appreciated.
i've heard about ebc green stuff/yellow stuff, but i don't know where to get those.
thanks.

They suck ***, my roommate ran them and they were no better than stock.
Axxis ultimates or if you need something less dusty metal masters would get my vote.

I've personally driven on them. I find they are a decent replacement. Although I love my hawks better, the AEM pads are reasonably priced compared to the more expensive hawk pads. I'm dying to try out the Carbotech pads...
brake pads dont stop you, tires do.
if oem pads can lock up your wheels, you dont need better pads. better pads are required when you are getting brake fade. you usually wont need this unless you are a road racer. autoX's can be fine with oem pads or axxis ultimates.
aem pads are made by nissin which also makes pads for honda.

Exactly why pay more when you can get the same results with OEM pads? I rather get Axxis or Hawks before I get aem pads.

AEM pads are mad by nissin, feature a slightly more aggressive compound than OEM, and are decent, though at most places overpriced.
I wouldn't use an ebc brake pad as a paperweight, let alone as a brake pad. they'd probably fade/disintegrate doing that, too.
empathy brought up a great point, that tires impact stopping distances, not brake systems. but if you're looking for better/different feel, need different cold bite characteristics, or better heat resistance, go with the hawks, some carbotechs, or some cobalt frictions.
these 3 brands + porterfield are probably on 90% of amateur race cars, and a lot (if not most) of pro race cars as well.
hawk hp+
cobalt friction GT-Sport
Carbotech bobcat or panther
porterfield R4S

anyone know what the hell brake pads have to do with suspension?
dont ever use EBC greens. they suck, they warp rotors and wear out quickly. mostly every user experience ive heard are bad except from the ppl who dont know any better. EBC makes good motorcycle pads, thats about it.
just get axxis ultimates and be done with it.

Aem are good normal street pads and if you have silver rims. They give off silver brake dust. Not a good performance pad.
I run Ultimates and they dusted my rims to hell.

My integra brakes suck (oem) compared to the new cars that are out there. Almost all new cars that I drive, the brakes grab hard with little peddle effort. I want my teg to be like that.
What pads can give me results like this?

I got my Hawk HP+ pads the other day they were $67 plus shipping.
I also got ATE brake fluid Blue and Amber in 1 Liter cans, pads fluid and shipping under $100. Heres the link http://www.raceshopper.com/
Also there shipping to the Md area was really fast
