Stock DX is less than 2". Just find an axleback that bolts up to the stock system. Any straight through muffler on a stock exhaust is going to sound ricey, sorry.

your arent going to get any more power out of a straight through muffler on your stock piping. my advice is to put a short ram intake on it and leave your exhaust alone, the car will have a nice deep sound when revving and it wont wake up your nieghbors. or just cut off your muffler.... (just kidding, just kidding heh)
I have a Tanabe Hyper Medialion universal muffler on my 92 cx hatch, stock piping and it sound nice and deep and not to whiney and ricey. i like it.
naww man if u want any good power gain chop the res off with that muffler on the vibrant it will still sound amazing, deep not ricey trust me, i got 2.5 custom piping from were my res was choped off at to my muffler that is 2.5 in 2.5 out 100$ for pipe and weld, 100$ for muffler 200$ u can have great power gain and a great sounding exhaust
