Finally!!! Got some parts to begin the rebuild of 01-339
As some of you guys know my first ITR was stolen and strpped back in September. I have been holding onto it so I can rebuild it when I finish college. I attended an event at my local salvage yard over the weekend, $50 to get in and you can leave with anything you can carry out, $30 for re-entry. 4 Trips later and I am ready to start my rebuild. Here's what I got: Both doors, rear bumper, hood, complete hatch, and almost everything that was stolen out of my interior with the exception of seats. Here's some pics
as she sits right now

both doors and a hatch:

rear interior panels:

Door panels:

Hood:

It all looks pretty dirty, I did not have time to clean the stuff up before I took the pics. Its all in really good shape.

Since I have another ITR now, I am going to use this one as a track car, sucks that she wont be ready by July 2.

Justin, if you have some free time, I know your car was stolen back in Sept, and there was some investigation with ebay engines and stuff.
How did that all turn out? Bust anyone? Did they catch your theives?

If you were keeping this as a track car you should have left it bare with the exception of the door covers and dashboard... Just my opinion.
thats what my R looks like. but mine has more parts on it now. i bought the R shell from one of my friends here on HT. need a front rad support. then i can send it into the shop for paint. the interior for the most part is done.
Damn, thieves ruined a nice car.
What did they do to it?? Obviously they stripped it, but did they crash it too or did they just beat on it to put dents on it??
Good luck with the rebuild.

It was rolled down an embankment and into a run off pond.

If I had a steady job and free weekends, I would attempt it, but currently in a 6 yr program, need to keep a 3.5 gpa, no way I could do something.
A tidbit, it took me 2 months just to convert a auto hatch to manual and put a z6 swap, and 4 months to do a b16 swap in a hatch
good luck lol
