Default best exhaust to run on a h22 with spray?

I have a 97 civic hatch with a h22. I am looking for a little better sound and good performance. The h22 swap in my buddy's hatch sounded like **** cause it was so loud. I just dont want a bumble bee. What do you guys think?

Just run a quiet exhaust on the street.
Then when you go to the track, drop the exhaust and use the spray.
Thats what I do.
