Hey, just curious if any of you guys have any of the benen industries bars on your cars. The type R has all of the bars, but benen supposedly replaces them with light/stronger bars. Has anyone tried them, and do you think some of the products are worth the money.

 

I happen to be very good friends with the Benen brothers, and I can say that their products are top notch, I would recommend them over Spoon, Mugen, etc... If you have any questions, feel free to let me know...

 

quick comparison: comptech rear lower tie bar vs. benen rear lower tie bar.

What would you go with? Both of them are top quality from what I'v heard, but the benen bar is a little cheaper. Comptech comes in polished or red finish while benen comes in black, polish..and something I cant remember.

 

I would go with the Benen tie bar for sure, not just b/c they are my friends, but b/c their quality is in its own league.

Has benen made any carbon hoods that will fit our ITRs yet?

 

I have heard that they will start making stuff for the DC2 by spring.

One of the most underrated companies out there in my opinion. I plan on buying all of the bars and anything else they make for the Type R. Like everyone else said, absolute top notch quality.

 

They are making a C/F front lip spoiler,that should be out April-June......
