I don't either but I really don't like the look of a busted windshield and hood

I am pretty sure they are all vented. Most aftermarket hoods for the S are vented, except the OEM style ones. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Well, that makes sense...
My "fake" hood, that is on Nishant's car now, and even my old OEM style "fake" hood, both saw speeds of 140 a few times. They didn't even begin to shake or wobble.

hoodpins are not there for cosmetic reasons. they are there to prevent ur hood flying back. it is there to possibly save your life and other drivers. when i first got my cf hood, i never got the pins installed and when i was driving 70 mph, the hood was flopping and i got scared so i never went over 55 mph for about a week.
imagine driving with a CF hood and having ur convertible top down and having the hood fly up and break off and having pieces of the hood hitting you in the head.
function > form.

VIS Racing J's replica. I bought it mainly for the vents. After one track event, I am impressed. Normally after a session, I would come to the pits and pop the hood. I would get hit with hot air. Now, that doesn't happen. I didn't realize it would help that much
everyone makes cf hoods, mugen, top secret, j's, amuse, cwest, yada yada yada yaday....
if you want a fiberglass hood that is vented i think you're stuck with veilside or mastergrade....
by the way.. cf hoods weigh more then the stock hoods....the main reason to swap hood is for cosmetics and to allow heat to escape from the engine bay..
