Default Cooling System... giving trouble.....

Car is overheating and I don't know why?.... It has a 1 year old off market radiator, new thermostat, and new water pump. Car was over heating 1 month ago, I changed the thermostat and everthing was fine, but again it is giving me the same trouble. When the car is driving on the highway, the temperature stays normal, as soon as I get off highway on the local highway the temperature gauge rises. I cant figure out the problem...... can it be the switch?

I know it sounds dumb chodu but did you check the hoses etc... around the radiator. Perhaps when you had your radiator replaced some of the hoses were re-connected properly and slowly since have come loose. I would suggest just to check them first. From there, i would take it back to who installed the radiator and have them check it out.

Could be your fans...the system could also be creating too much pressure. Could be quite a few things, and cooling system problems like this are hard to diagnose online with no hands on checking...be safe, take it to a trusted mechanic or someone with experience on cooling system (or engine work period...since the cooling system is a rather simple thing to work on and diagnose).

first off make sure you have planty of coolant in radiator and test radiator cap..
make sure fasns come on, start car put a/c on both fans should work .. if they dont chk fuses, relay or fan motors,,
if they do,,turn a/c off, let car warm to normal operating temp , touch lower radiator hose it should feel hot if it is t-stat open ok , if is warm or cool t-stat is stuck closed,
if t-stat is ok and car is up tp oparating temp anf fans dont work and were working with a/c on, on t-stat hosing there is a green plug 2 wires , jump those 2 wires together , if fans come on you got a bad fan switch
