anyone ever taken out their back seats?
hey has anyone ever taken out their back seats in a 5th gen for weight reduction or subs or anything like that?
i'm thinking about taking mine out cuz it really isn't comfortable and i don't drive more than a passenger in the car anyways...
just wondering if i need to do any cutting cuz i don't wanna destory the seats and i might put them back later on
any site relating to instructions on taking out seats is helpful too thx

Yeah, it's real easy.
But the entire rear seat (bottom & back) only weighs about 20 pounds, so don't expect a huge difference. And it does help keep things quieter as well - there's more road noise and you can hear the fuel pump whining with them out.

You dont want to keep the rear seats because you only carry 1 passenger? I dont get it. If you dont carry more than 1 passenger, whats the harm in keeping them there?
I took the rear seats out before to add some dynamat. I rode around like that for a week and that was loud as hell. Personally, I don't think it would make that big of a difference. It was pretty easy though.
thanks for help, just wanna take it out see how it looks (maybe throw in a sub) probably will put it back in if it doesn't work out.
i have a bbk fuelpump that pumped around 255 lph and without the backseats, the car was loud as hell. a constant noise. it's real easy tho. i took out every seat besides the driver one.
