Default EG civic trailing arms and upper arms

Hey guys, been a while since I've been on here but I recently picked up another EG hatch as a daily commuter. Anyway the trailing arm bushings are gone and I think my rear upper arms are shot also as I can pull the wheel out like a quater of an inch or so when I pull on the top of it.

Anyway does the rear trailing arms and upper arms of the 91 teg fit the eg civic? Would it be easier for me to replace the trailing arm bushing..........I'm thinking it is but I can only find an aftermarket bushing as I don't think honda makes a replacement bushing. Am I wrong? Also its probably just as well to put new oem honda bushings in the upper arms as well.

I assume that my upper arms are causing this in and out play in the wheel and not so much the trailing arm bushings?

It would be cheaper to replace the trailing arm bushing rather than buying a new trailing arm. Use the OEM honda part. Here is some good info on the TA bushings (including part numbers). Your going to need the part number because the parts guys cannot look it up by the vehicle. There are two different size bushings available, so measure your stock ones, and make sure you get the correct size. Then your gonna need to find a shop thats willing to press them out/in for you (should cost about $10 each)...

It might be cheaper to replace the whole UCA, than replacing just the bushings. I would probably get some used ones from HMotorsOnline.com or ImportAutoSalvage.com.

Also, yes the rear suspension of the 91teg will bolt onto your EG...

Hey 94teg thanks for the info, thats a great help.

I have a 91 teg I can probably salvage parts off, but I'm also going to check out the oem trailing arm bushings. Having to get the pressed in is the *****, the energy suspension bushings don't have to be pushed in.

Do the front control arms from the 91 teg fit the eg also?

The 91-93 Integra lower control arms will definently NOT work. They use a radius rod setup that connects the LCAs to a forward mounted front crossmember that is not present on 92-95 civics. You will have to retain your stock LCAs...

The 91-93 Integra upper control arms look the same but they have different part numbers from the 94+ Integra ones. Therefore, I do not know if they will work properly on your civic.

The 91-93 Integra knuckles & brakes should work just fine on your civic. Those are the only suspension parts you'll need for a front brake swap onto your civic anyways. You will also need to swap in the Integra's Master cylinder & brake booster if they are still good.

I was under the impression that 90-93 integra suspension pieces were more like 88-91 Civics than 92-95? I didn't think the rears swapped over. I know the rear LCAs are a different length and place the shock differently cause I've compared them.

Maybe I'm wrong? I don't think so tho...

They are all interchangable...
