IF YA GOT YOUR CAR PAINTED AT "1DAY PAINT & BODY" POST PICS AND PRICE YA PAID FOR IT.
i was thinking of getting my car painted at 1day paint and body white and just wanted to see some pics of cars done there and post the price of it.
I think you should be fine
just make sure you dont have alot of dents or anyything,
and hit it with a really good polish job afterwards
should look good
however.. don't expect it to last..
ie chips flakes.etc..

nice...i got mines painted at maaco awhile back...paid around 500.00...it was pretty good until a friend of mine backed into my front end...then i got rear-ended soon after...then the paint cracked on the bumper and it looked like they didn't sand or prep it right...since my original color was exposed...

wha the **** is w/ everyone on hear wanting cheap paint jobs, i just dont get it. but if you insist on getting a maaco paint for at least do 95% of the prep work so it looks good. spend all this money on susp, motors work, etc to cheap out on what really counts! THE PAINT

not everyone has the money to dish out for a paintjob that is gonna get messed up daily driving it or tracking it. That and not everyone cares about how their car looks, to some, its about whats on the inside, function > fashion

I agree with doing a lot of prep if you want to have it painted at maaco, 1-day, or Earl's. But the fact if the matter is that spending a zillion dollars on a paintjob is ludicrous. Especially for the most of us who daily drive and occasionally track these cars.
also, no offense, but h-t isnt really into the whole off the wall 'show-car' thing. especially not like the kind found on EDIProjektz.com. To be quite honest, I think the cars in the 'top-rated' section there look rediculous.

you probably can if you pay them to do a 2 stage (basecoat / clearcoat) paintjob. but for what they charge for those you can go to some smalltime paint/body shop and get it done and prob a better, more thorough paintjob

these kind of places for 2 stage want like over 1200 **** thats crazy.
