Default block warpage with rad leak?

about 10K miles ago my rad started leaking on the upper tank and upper hose. the rad was replaced under warranty.

im wondering if it was possible for air to get into the system, and possibly causing uneven cooling for the block - leading to warpage. ( i was still driving the car, and filling up the over flow bottle every few days)

the car is perfect. but im just curious about side effects. or am i just being paranoid

thanks

if your rad problem lead to extremely high coolant temps then you may have damaged some bearings, but you would have had to have car in the red zone for that. stop smoking the ganja and you wont be so paranoid.

I wouldn't worry about that. The place that replaced the rad would have bled the cooling system of air.

If air DOES get trapped, it'll find the highest point in the system, up by the bleeder bolts -- and the temp sensor. If there were air in the system, your idle would be "hunting" every time that bubble bounced around the sensor.

As long as your temp gauge isn't showing anything out of the ordinary, I wouldn't worry.
