Default In trouble with the LAW !! 12 tickets, towed 2 times, and put in jail !!!

I need some major help (advise) . I was driving monday night(7:30pm), and get pulled over for 75 in an 45. This state tropper (leage city ) gives me 6 tickets. Speeding , no helmet , no class m license , no registration, failure to yield(bullshit), no insurance(which i have but not at the time). So he towed my bike. I pay $ 197 to get it out . From the wrecker service i drove about 20-40 ft towards the stop light and get pulled over again. The officer(she) said i was driving too slow(empeding traffic! bullshit!). So i get 6 more tickets. Have my bike towed again and get arrested. After she hand cuffs me and puts me in the car and she calls for backup , and who do u think show up .....the first A**hole that pulled me over. For anyone in tx say away from leage city.

wow... bummer, but maybe you should look into, well gee i dunno, how about not speeding, getting a helmet, getting your license, getting your bike registered, and getting your bike insured... that would just be for starters. just be glad you didn't hurt anyone or yourself.

Sucks that it happened but maybe it'll teach you a lesson. I wouldn't want an asshat w/no insurance run into me.

My advice? Sell the bike and get a lawyer. Oh and learn to respect authority.

That sucks you got all that **** twice. Were you really stupid enough to go get the bike and ride it again with no helmet, no license, no insurance, and no registration? That's actually pretty funny, dumbass!

You're one of the most visible things on the road to cops, and you thought you could ride with no helmet?

you need some luck on ur side, seems like u have very little. but hey it could be worse. just learn from it and move on. i got pulled over and had my car impounded and when i got it back from the impound that night, i got pulled over again. and that was some shitty luck

Well if this is a serious post and you still plan on riding, get everything fixed as fast as you can. Helmet, license, insurance, etc. Get a lawyer and take it to court. You will have to prove that you are responsible to the judge if you expect any leniency. However driving from the police station and repeating the same 6 mistakes within minutes/hours of each other does not show responsibility. You do also realize that speeding (75 mph) without a helmet would mean almost certain death in the event of an accident right?

I can understand the desire to pickup a new bike and get it home, but in the end it is going to cost you way more than it would have to just have it delivered to your house.

Question if the bike was bought new wouldn't you have to have insurance on it to finance?

Also how/why would the dealer let you out of the showroom without a helmet? You couldn't talk em into throwing one in for free? I would think they would not allow someone to pull out without a helmet if it is against the law.

I guess they just dont care as long as they get paid.

Not that I advocate dude riding his bike with out a helmet but I did notice he is from houston. Now I go to houston several times a year for visits, family, take care of property etc...

And in all my trips there out of the hundreds of bikers I have seen including dirt, street, cruisers I have only seen about 4 of them with helmets on. From the hick on the harley with a wife beater to the idiot on the r1 with shorts and flip flops it seems that most people there do not wear helmets which leads me to believe that there is no helmet law there... Hell until what 5 or 10 years back (I forget exactly) they didn't have laws about people riding in the back of the pick up trucks.... Texas laws are a bit more lax (excluding the death penalty and crulity to horses) then much of the rest of the country...

Trust my my family owns quite a bit of property there and I'm about to have a house built for me there... But I would never ride my bike without my helmet and gear.... I know its hot and humid as hell there but at the very least I would need my helmet, jeans, boots and a mesh or light weight jacket....

well if it makes you feel any better, I'll be driving to Albany today to go to court for wreckless driving (wheelie) and some other tickets... unsafe lane change, inspection, and something else...

i got everything fixed asap, got a lawyer - and i will be at court with my fingers crossed...

**** we all make stupid mistakes at some point in our lives, i can't say i wouldn't have done the same thing you did... but ****, sucks you got caught...

however, this was the best response...

You're not dead yet?? Well, I guess it's only a matter of time......

OR, you could do what has been said above, but I doubt you will. It sounds like you have more money than sense.

Get a lawyer for court and don't forget to have him write out your will.

You're an idiot

Wow, you sound like an idiot. I have no sympathy for idiocy or ignorance and you seem to posess both. Sorry.
