Default losing shock travel

I installed my omnipowers last night in my teg and the rear shocks are really long. I have a 2in finger gap without losing any shock travel but i have the coilovers set where my tires are sitting flush with the fender but i'm losing about 2in's of travel. Is it suppose to be like this?
