Take one Suzuki TL1000S, add $70,000 worth of one-off custom bits, and voila--Superbike-spec Oehlins fork resides in custom billet triple clamps from Harris Performance, and is home to blue-anodized six-piston Berringer calipers.

super street bike

And in the end you've just got a really expensive TL.

I give you BladeRod:

yeah i think putting that Ninja in that movie helped make the sportbike thing take off.

That was back when women were still women. Kelly McGillis actually is a full-figured woman, instead of all these stick-figure heroin-addict actresses nowadays with bodys like 12 yr old boys....look at the bike when she's on the back, the rear shock is nearly bottomed out

Did anybody else think this movie was badass watching it as a kid and then saw it again as an adult and thought the plot and acting was just silly? I did.

edit - oh and....

Nasty creature but I'm not sure I'd want one......It's one of those bike you can go out on and have a very good chance of never coming back .

Oh and Jay Leno has one

no i dont think so. it has horrible throttle response being a turbine that has to spin up to 20,000 rpm - and has much greater rotational inertia to overcome than a regular engine.
