I picked up my '88 for $600. When I got it it "sorta" ran, had no exhaust, no intake, partially guutted interior, and mismatched 13" steelies. Also came with a z6 head.

If your building a CRX racecar look for an 88HF, cheaper, lighter, and better rear suspension.

over here in so cal that is pretty hard to find

since the rear has a ball style rear shock

but yeah 88 civic anything was the lightest

Good luck. You and everyone else in the Northeast are looking for a cheap '88-91 Civic/CRX with no drivetrain and a good body.

Your best bet will be to go south and/or west where they don't have snow and road salt. Just about everything in the Northeast will have some degree of rust.
