ok, i have an 85 crx si, and when the car runs for a bit, and gets warm, it idles down at like 150-200 rpms, and there isnt even enough power at that rpm, so my cd player shuts off, then if i rev it up, it turns back on, i tried charging my battery, but it still does it, and it also gets kinda hot too, but hopefully someone can help me out!!!

 

if i am correct the older X's were carburated werent they. if thats so there should be a small screw that u would adjust the idle for them. i am not sure that is just my guess from my general knowledege of motors.

 

no sir, the si was fuel injected, sounds like your idle air control valve is bad.
