Default bumper light fitment.

i'm having problems installing a crx bumper light onto the front of the bumper. It seems a little wide by 1/2 cm than the orginal one? Did i just got scammed by the website i bought it from? They're a little longer in diameter than the oem bumper light. Where i put the yellow squares on the picture below, the light doesn't even stay straight .. it's too long so it's tilted facing outward..!? any idea or am i just putting it wrong. It does seem 1/2 cm longer. I measured it with the oem one.
I know it's not a jdm bumper light cause those curve around the bumper.. I'll take some pictures of the light later on. But for now look at my bumper and try to help me!

The 90-91 CRX's got longer and clear front signals. The 88-89 had yellow and shorter signals in bumper.

But you're seeming to have 90-91 bumper. Hmm. You have wrong signals.

Hi, first off i just want to say, I'm a girl but dont underestimate me. I been working on tons of crx. Literally stripped it apart down to bare metal. I put oem bumper lights back on crx'es before. I know that u have to slide it in one way first til it clips then push it back in to where u can screw the screw on. and i'm 100% sure that the lights they sent me label " oem crx bumper light " is a little too long than the oem one. Because the reason why i order the bumper lights is that ONE of my bumper light was cracked. So when the oem bumper light came.. 2 sets.. I took it and looked at it side by side with the one that didn't crack. And to my conclusion the one that i just got is a little too long. NO way is this going to fit. It's either they sent me a wrong bumper light.. cause i know for sure that it won't fit.
No hard feelings. But thanks for the comment. And no i'm not sure if they're aftermarket lights..the website states that it's Oem crx bumper light for 90 and 91 Honda Crx HF. I think i got screwed.

Waited a while for them.. kinda heated up and pissed off finding out they dont fit. I'm not a fan of return online orders. Just the process takes forever.
I own a 90 honda Hf. my bumper is a 90. yeah.

Sorry, it's been a bad bad bad week. No hard feelings.

If you'd only look at the pics you wouldn't have looked like a total ***.

No offence. But how we can know that you know the basics?

And if the "OEM" dont fit the OEM bumper, what the hell it is? And why bother even posting it?

Hope you can get the real ones.

just because they label it "oem" doesnt always mean its an oem honda part...companies just replicate the oem piece....but u gotta think of it this way...u bought an aftermarket part..its not gonna fit like an oem...at our shop we get aftermarket bumpers all the time...they never quite fit right...but when we order real oem ones they fit perfectly every time...sometimes u get good quality ones and sometimes they kinda suck...thats the risk u take buying aftermarket...just my .02..good luck

crx_88_si said it best.
88-89 bumper lights will be amber/orange.
90-91 bumper lights should be clear.

if you are having trouble installing them, make sure you have them on the correct sides. If you have them backwards they will not fit.

The pic in the very 1st post is without a dought a 1990 or 1991 CRX front bumper. That year bumper uses the longer factory stanley clear leans with orange reflector behind it.
Honda only charges like 12 or 14 bucks per side, it should be easy to solve your problem.

Too lazy to read through all the posts, but if the picture of the white crx is your crx, 90-91 bumper lights should fit with no problems whatsoever. If they don't fit, you've got the wrong parts. Heh, I've been hanging around honda-tech too long...I don't even own a CRX and I can tell the differences between the models/model years.
