Default CRX hood solution?

I have a b18a swapped in my 89dx right now, no problems but I will be swapping that for a b18b/b16 combo im building up.

so what I want to know is what are my options? I search the forums but couldn't fin what I wanted

I don't want a CF hood because I don't want to make the car a target

I won't buy one then paint it thats way too much $ for an apearance mods (I don't want to spend any money on the body because it's pretty beat as is)

I can't use JUST the jdm hood because then i'd need the whole front.. then I'm back to square one.. money wasted to me

So I wanna know if anyone came up with any other ideas?

I was considering welding in a lump from any other car with one, i know there were a couple.. dsm ect. any help would be great thanks!

I'm trying to figure out what he needs the "bump" in the hood for. The DOHC will fit without the bump. My hood was touching the cam cover on mine (B16), to fix it I took the hood off, grabbed the cutting wheel and cut out the subframe piece that was touching. Problem solved.

the b16 has a shorter deck

the b18 vtecs sit much higher making the hood fit retarded

the washer idea sounds good, but the oil pan is low enough im not sure if i'd want to lower even more lol

neon lump sounds the best so far
