Drove 11 hours to South Florida, and 11 back with a Fluidyne ... I don't see why the stock radiator shouldn't be able to handle it.

it depends on the condition of the radiator, but you're more likely to overheat while sitting still, than at highway speeds. You'll probably be ok.

well, a fluidyne is about 50 times better than a stock civic radiator. i wouldnt trust those little pieces of **** stock radiators.

I've been running the same one for over a year on my swap without ever seeing a sign of overeheating.

I would be doing the same, but i found a great deal on a del sol dual core, so i said what the hell and picked it up. But yeah, the stocker works just fine.

i have the fluidyne half radiator in my h22/eg. its a close fit, the bleeder valve sticks in the fan a little bit but it doesnt hit the fan blade.

That's weird, mine is fine. I ran downstairs and took a couple quick pictures.

EDIT---After posting, I just realized that you probably have either a stock fan or front mount fan. It's more efficent to mount it pusher style. It flows more air and saves more room!

well, actually i now have my fan mounted as a pusher but for some reason, when its hot outside, my water temperature gets very high, higher than it did when i had my other fan mounted puller. the fan does turn on, and it is a pusher fan that i bought from pep boys about 3 years ago.

I got a Del Sol VTEC radiator and my car never overheats. Seen plenty of guys just run the stock civic rad with no problems.

still running my stock rad/fan that came with my d15b7. The temp guage needle makes it one mark low of the half mark on the guage and never moves. I was thinking about switching for a push fan instead of a pull though. I don't have much clearance for the stock fan, its just enough to work.

quick question. is the del sol dual core radiator the same size as a stock civic radiator? and if i get a del sol daul core radiator does it have to be form a B16 del sol? I have a stock radiator and a FAL fan on my H22 civic. I live in denver if i run it at 70-75 MPH the temp gauge never moves but if i drive it @ 80 MPH for about 25 mins the temp gauge stays half way and if i race somebody in the heat temp gauge goes really high?

Not exactly the same size no, its a bit thicker but it does fit in the same place as your stocker.
