I have searched for info on the J&S Safeguard, but I had very limited luck.

So far, everyone i have seen running on has forced induction. Would this be something that would benefit a N/A engine with N2O? Sorry for the dummy question.... I'm not familiar with this device at all. Thanks

 

i guess if you ran a big shot.....like over 100shot that unit would be a pretty good tool to have.

if you have a small shot and dont plan on going bigger.....you probably dont need it.

 

What exactly does the J&S do? I am planning on a 100 shot direct port system.....

 

Basically the J&S hooks up to your knocksensor and when it detects knock in the engine it pulls your timming. You can set up how sensitive the unit is, and by how much it pulls your timming. A J&S and NOS would be a great setup, you basically wouldn't have to worry about detonating your motor

 

where can I order the J&S Safeguard ?

I figure it would be an excellent device to have if you have high compression 12.0+ and you are running a big shot of N2O ( 80+ ) . cause once it detects knock from the high compression and N2O it will drop your timing.

am I wrong ?
