Default 94 Civic EX Rear Brake Upgrade

OK I'm new to the forums and though it's probably been covered in the past...

I recently bought a 94 Honda Civic EX Coupe and I'm interested in upgrading the rear brakes to a disc setup. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be the a good upgrade that wouldn't cost a fortune? I have no problem with using used Acura parts if I can find them. Also, I believe this car has been lowered a bit. It handles great but it bottoms out really easily. It hasn't been much of a problem yet but I'm afraid I could damage it if I'm not super careful. Any help with the brake upgrade would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ben

Look for any of the dc2 integras with 4 wheel disc and steal the hubs off of that.

Or an eg civic si with 4 wheel disc would work as well.

good going on getting the 94 ex! (= i have one too. I've also been looking around for brake upgrades. If you search "disc conversion" you can find many conversions for sale. For rear only, I've seen them go for around $150-250. For rear and front, they usually go for around $350-450. These prices are for clean GSR parts, which is what you should find and will typically find, so it shouldn't be an issue. Just as a side note, don't forget you also need the 40/40 proportioning valve. Many times people will not note that even though they state it is "complete".

Good luck!
