I just bought a brand new denso o2 sensor, i have a 92 dx hatch, my motor is a d15b bottom end and a z6 head, i asked the guy at the auto parts store for a 95 civic vtec o2 sensor, now i get home and it's not the same. It has a blue wire instead of a green. I put it in and my car idle's like **** and smokes alot...could this be a wrong sensor??

i believe it just has to be a 4 wire o2. Are you throwing a check engine light? perhaps you need to reset the ECU.

 

no check engine light has come on, we tried switching the two black wires and it ran the same no cel either...maybe i need to get it tuned??
