What were you driving when...
...you realized that you needed 2 wheels to go as fast as you wanted to go? I think most of us were driving Integras, lol...wanna see if I'm right.

I didn't really get one for the speed.
I knew I needed one a few years ago when I was cruising down the highway in the middle lane with my windows and sunroof open. 2 bikes passed on my drivers side and another on the passenger.
I got the chills instantly down to the hairs on my arms and neck standing straight up. The sound was incredible and it looked so effortless and smooth to flick it through traffic going 20mph faster then everyone else.
I had to have one

For a few months, yes. I couldn't believe how fast the SV was. That didn't last.

well i went from a high 15 second LS with lots of bolt ons, to a 10 second CBR, stock. I'm not too crazy with the CBR, but i love having the power when i want it.
I think i first knew i wanted a bike after i had my integra for about a year, or 5000 dollars, and it still wasn't anywhere near what i wanted.

Ditto. My bike(s) will likely never see what I do on the track. Motorcycles for me were more about them being a kickass extension of your body that pure, unadulterated speed.

Gosh! Defintely when I was going through puberty. I remember being 16 and like right after I got my license, I felt the need for crack/cocaine motorcycle speeds.

i had a 11sec boosted b16 crx and just wanted another toy bc i always wanted a bike. Got into debt and sold the rex bc the bike was so much fun to drive. I regret selling the car though. The bike isn't to much fun in the cold and rain.
