Default ITR 5 lug onto 00' Si...

I duno why i didnt ask this earlier, shouldve!

ok, so i have a usdm 5 lug im putting into a 2000 Si.

Know how to do the fronts. Never bothered to ask about the rears.

How should I go about swapping the rears? I was told to switch out just the hubs, but now I'm being told to swap the whole trailing arm.

So, if I swap the trailing arm, should I swap everything? or is there certain parts I should keep? And how do I pull out my stock Si ebrake line?(theres a big bracket that doesnt allow me to pull it through the hole on the trailing arm)

any help!! please!! im dying here!!!

THANKS h-t!

It's identical to a rear disk conversion. Search and you'll find tons of how-to threads with pics.

You can swap out the: trailing arms, toe link adjusters, upper control arms, and e-brake cables.

You must retain the civic rear lower control arms however.

Check the hybrid forum, you keep the lower control arms. I'm sure because you buy ITR lower control arms for civics that want ITR suspension.

Mario is correct. ITR control arms do not work on 96+ civics.

12mm deep socket or ratcheting wrench from inside the car to loosen the cables. Then 2 12mm bolts holding them to the chassis.
Look at the caliper. You'll see this pin that looks like an R going through a pin. Pull the R shaped pin out then push the pin and the cable should come free.

There are also random 12 or 10mm bolts under the car and hidden under heat shields which you'll need to remove also.

Now that I think of it, don't disconnect the ones from inside the car. Just take the ones off the calipers and move put them on after you bolt it up.

the reason I cant pull out my stock Si ebrake line, is because at the end of the ebrake (where it connects by the caliper) theres a metal/brass bracket that is too large to pull out through the trailing arm.

So if I want to use my stock Si ebrake line, is my only option to just swap ONLY the hubs? and not the whole trailing arm?

OR is there a method to remove the stock Si ebrake line?????
