I got a set of these from the dealer and there are little plastic tabs on the back to put in the license plate bolt holes, however, the holes on my 97 del sol bumper are too big. How does everybody account for that and get them to fit?btw, my bumper doesnt have the metal piece for the bolt to go onto, could that be the problem?

 

I am not sure, but it sounds like they gave you the wrong tabs.....i got them for my 98 ek and they fit in perfect.....how much smaller are they than the holes?

 

quite a bit...i was thinking of putting some electrical tap or something on them to account for the difference...

Did you leave the metal piece for the bolt to fasten into in there when u did it?they had two sizes and i got the larger ones.

 

what metal piece are you talking about?.....the bracket thingy that the license plate sits in and bolts into?

 

i left my brackets back there and my plugs just poped into place

yeh, i found some of those metal pieces and everything is fine now...thanks for the help. Looks much better now
