making sure im getting the corect harness jumper
i have a 98 HX, so ill need a OBD2A - obd1, correct?
one of my friends suggested this site JKOBD.com

Check the sponsors section for harness vendors.
And yes your friend was correct, you need an OBD2a - OBD1 conversion harness.
