Default 6th gen F23 motor w/ H22 tranny, what needs to be done to correct speedo to match actual speed?

i've been posting this on a few forums, but it seems like no one can give me any good info. i have a H22 tranny on the way and it'll be bolted up to my F23 engine in my 6th gen accord. i know the speedo i gonna be off, maybe by 10 or so mph cause of the different final drive and short gearing. what do i need to do to correct this. this is my daily driver, and i pass by mucho cops on the way to work. i NEED to know my actual speed, how fast i'm going and how much i need to slow down. this is all escalated by the fact that i'm always in a bit of a rush on the way to work and my radar/laser detector/jammer can only help soo much.

i figure this is the best place to get this answered since this is the hybrid section. what do you civic/tegs do when u guys swap to type-r/gsr/si trannys?

Wow... I really don't know... your Accord is for sure using electronic speedometer.... And I pretend that the tranny is sending pulse to the inboard speedo attached to needle..... Actualy..... Im not expert.... But I would say the only way to get the right speed on your dash is to get the needle ( and propably the electronic circuit ) from where the H22 tranny was took... since that one is calibrated to match the pulse from the H22 tranny ( This only work if the speedo range of both dash match in circle radius )......

Otherwise I would say.... Create your speedo design under Autocad and put the right speed number at the right place.... and get it print using high quality printer somewhere.... If done correctly.. you can get a perfect OEM look !!

That make any sens ????
