I'm debating on whether I should paint my car Silver...just don't know what shade. What color silver do u guys like most and if u have pics then post them up!

didn't you just get the car painted white? Why waste more money and change the color to silver now?

your white paint job looks like AZZ!! you can tell that they did a crapy azz job because they just sprayed over everything, even the trunk key and the rear rubber fender guards that are supposed to be black are white. i bet if you removed them, your original paint will show underneath.

the only silver pic i have is of my stock color.

 

yeah at first i liked it. then noticed it wasn't a good paint job after all.
thats why i'm going back to silver.

I'm also having a really hard time deciding on what shade of silver to go with. My car is currently silver, but she needs a repaint and some rust work done to her.
So, I've been busy visiting dealerships to check out their silver cars. I liked the Subura Legacy, Lexus had a good one and Acura. I didn't bother to check other ones, but I went through the binder of colour codes with the bodyshop owner and was so sure that we were going with the Honda silver. He did a bigger test card paint for me and it turned out it had a hint of beige/brown, so forget that. So, I've decided to go with the current Acura silver colour code. He's going to mix the paint on Monday and we're going to hold it up against my car and see if I'm happy with it. I basically want the silver to have abit more metallic with a hint of grey. It's been a real pain to try and figure out which shade of silver to choose from because there's so many. But I would recommend to do what I went through, if you have the patience to, because the last thing you need is end up having a silver/purple car. lol

Beleive it or not, Silver is the safest colour in terms of car accidents. I know you won't base your decision on that alone, but it's a definite plus. Plus, I love Silver now. And my future cars will be Silver. The worst colours for accidents were green, black and white. I think blue was in there as well. No wonder I've been hit 3 times!!!!!!!!! My DA is blue.
