Default My LSB E46 project progress pics PART II

Here are a couple of shots of how the car looks as of this week...The jambs are actually LSB now...I cant sleep at night waiting for the whole car to be that color!

the doors are getting re-hung this weekend and the body might be shot next week.

LSB is sexy but why the color change? Did you wreck and figure now was as good a time as any?

basically yes....It was in a minor fender bender and the front fender and front door on the right side got dented...I've always loved lsb so i just said **** it and took the plunge.

The only LSB Beamer I've ever seen is the E46 M3 coupe.

sedans were never made in lsb...but i'm sure if you special order one through bmw individual, they would make it for you...

i'll keep posting updates till the day its done...and no, it didnt cost me as much as it should have...The painter is a good friend and he hooked me up...This car and my accord which he is painting right after this bimmer, will be displayed at Nisei Showoff this year, so you guys can see the quality in person.

-the engine is staying put...Only the surrounding areas (underside of hood, insides of fenders) are getting sprayed blue...E46 engine bays are finished in primer/non gloss from the factory anyways so i figured i'd leave it alone...Plus, i like the engine bay staying a lighter color.
