My frined is doing a b20 vtec in his 99' si. overall it was smooth sailing but it came to swap over the crank angle sensor and i hadnt read anything about that step. after searching through tons of usless info i still have no difinitive answer maybe someone can clear this up

to swap over the crank angle sensor must you swap over the oil pump/front cover from the b16 to the b20? or can you just somehow swap over the pickup and sensor for the crank angle sensor.

 

well i answered my own question... front cover comes off the b16 to use the crank angle sensor.

i'm now a mini cr-vtec expert
