anything that your mind/body/wrist can handle. i used to think that a 600 is a better noob bike but noobs can ride litre bikes if wanted. just need to learn how to control the bike and respect it.

Don't do it. Motorcycles are bad. You will find yourself daydreaming of riding while at work or school (or both). Your wallet will be empty, and your savings/checkings will be precariously on edge. Your credit cards will be maxed out. People will think you are a rebel. Police vehicles will follow you. Your friends who do not ride will exclude you from gatherings, and your family will look down on you. Your dog will pee on your tires.

Motorcycles. Totally worth it.

My family doesn't look down on me but my girls parents hate me for having a bike.

I started out on a 96 honda F3 and i thought it was the perfect bike to learn on. But know i wish i started out on a 750 because i already want a bigger bike.
