k-pro ? would it be a tool for ppl who steals cars
k-pro ? would it be a tool for ppl who steals cars rsx,ep3, since k-pro disable all the security codes of the stock ecu
Nobody answer this. Thieves abound check this site, why make things easier for them. If you really want to know this one, do it in an IM session, or do some research. But please don't post about it in a public forum!
IT WAS JUST A QUESTION because type R's get stolen just about every day I was woundering what would happend when there is no more type R's ? huh?

I think it is a valid question. I am thinking of selling my 93 Si because I'm sick and tired of worrying if my car's gonna be there in the morning. As well as putting all these alarms and kill switches, etc... For what? I like the new design of the hondas (diff ecu, keys, immobiliser, etc) and I'm thinking of purchasing a rsx because of the formentioned reasons. If k-pro infact disables the immobiliser function then that would be a major design flaw on hondata's part, that information however should be put on hondata's web page so people with newer hondas know the possible risks of using k-pro if that is even an issue.

actually it's a very dumb question. If you did any research at all you would know the answer. Lock this thead.
Edit: you obviously do not know anything about why dc2-R's get stolen also. There will be no more Type R's? Are you dumb or something?

Ok, I'm going to make this simple: I am considering a RSX as a next vehicle, so I was interested in this thread to see if that would be a problem. If it does disable the immobiliser function, then the chip in the key would be useless (which would be a problem). However the other valid point of a thief spending 1k on k-pro (if thats even an issue) vs getting a tow truck makes more sense (thieves are cheap bastards). When my civic was violated twice - stolen, then broken into - they never damaged the locks or ignition, the second time they left evidence (which the police disregaurded
). I'm not saying this for any sympathy from anyone, I'm just stating why I was wondering if this would be a possible problem to owners (or prospective owners like myself) of these vehicles. Lastly, if every "Car Enthusiast" on here knew everything, like you say, there would be no need for h-t and we would all be beligerent ********
. On that note, this should be locked - doesn't seem like this topic is going anywhere.

Hasport is the one to point at, for making those motor mount kits.
Now we will see more and more K20 thugs out there, don't matter what you got... K-pro or not if they want it they WILL get it!
