How hard to install Jdm Final Drive
Looks pretty complicated even with a Helms. I'm not going to do mine till after I get Omniman's DVD on how to build a 200 whp 1.6 which also has a segment on how to install a 4.7
If your experienced its not that bad, just follow the helms and take your time. However if you inexperienced take it in or let someone experienced work on it as kendall said.

^^What everyone else said. I just did it while rebuilding my tranny for the first time. As long as you have some confidence, a Helms and a set of tools (and another method of transport) you might as well give it a shot.
Yes, you will need to tear down the countershaft to replace it with the new one. Good luck

I've installed it in two different transmissions and have also taken them out of the same transmissions. I plan on throwing in my new R soon. Its really not that bad if you know how to follow directions.
