Anyone using EGT gauges????
A read a lot of boosted applications were using EGT gauges. They are cheaper than Widebands. And I would think if you had a base temp to relate too it would be a good investment for those who drive 3 hrs to the dyno. Sometimes I want to try diff things and the A/F ratio holds me back. Reading plugs can be too late.
I used EGT gauge forever and think that its one of the best tuning tools that you can use. Try keeping your egt's around 1350 on an allmotor engine.

Was it a mechanical or electronic gauge, and also when you got toward the lean side would the temp go up a pretty good bit?
