Default 1997 Integra Type R

I am looking to install a nitrous kit in my car. I had installed a computech header and exhaust system, a racing flywheel, a racing clutch, a racing air filter, a short shifter and a racing computer in my car. Can someone help me on the type of nitrous kit and components I would need. After the installation of the nitrous kit what would my car be worth it is in excellent conditon.

With all due respect, your car's value will not necessarily increase with the addition of the NOS. More likely, it will decrease in value.

Furthermore, the rest of us have no "clear" idea of what you mean by "racing" this and that, unless your racing clutch is a twin plate carbon Tilton.

Best of luck. Ed

what qualifies a part for 'racing'?

Plenty of cars race with all kinds of stock parts and budget/bargain parts... are they 'race' too ?

I see that they sell computers, but don't see anything about headers on the website...

Less than it is worth in stock trim, that's for sure.

You didn't define excellent condition, show pics, list mileage. For a low (50K) mileage 97, you might get 13-14k with those mods. With nitrous, maybe 11k.

Don't do it. If you do, you might want to go back to the stock computer, because a "racing computer" will likely add a lot of timing.

Your car would be worth less. would you want to buy a car knowing someone fryed the **** out pistons/rings with a nitrous kit? No offense but thats what any car buyer would think. i say you dont tell the person your trying to sell it to unless you know you can get away with it. look at most for sale cars with nitrous, most of the time they say its never been used.

buuwaahhhhaha!!!

Nitros=laziness. You need to ask yourself:

Why did I buy an R?
=B/c it was a Hype R and like you have stated many times racing yO!
Why put a nitros kit on?
B/c your lazy and dont realize that the R motor wasnt meant for that.
Why do you want to know the value?
Because you dont value the caR you have now and are more concerned what others think or what you could get.

These are merely jackass assumptions, but I bet atleast 1 is true

Solution?
Sell the R, Get yourself a GSR and with that extra money you can do alot more **** to it

On that note, I anodized my Auto Zone racing brake blanks @ Expo

Cobalt racing pads and ATE super blue racing brake fluid matched with my racing Azenis and racing Kosei's where too much for my hi performance rotors. Maybe I should get a nitrous fogger for my brakes.
