I have been following this forum for some time and really liked it, just never had the chance to ask for help - until now.

I have a 98 Civic LX and runs like a champ. Has 58,xxx miles on it and never had a problem with it. Today, on the way to work, the check engine light came on. None of my drivability changed - neither crusing, accel or stopped. Can someone point me in the right direction on getting it fixed?

Edit...I checked the archive and some how to do the driveway check engine light reading. I'll check it and post back.

take it by someplace like Autozone and have them check the code. its free for them to do that..they will give you the code then sometimes they will even look it up for you
