Rotor Temps at 500 Degrees plus at track, is that a problem?
We measured the front rotor temps. right after a 20 minute session and they were 500 degrees on both rotors. Same goes for another ITR there. Is this a problem? Should I do anytihng about this in terms of upgrading the brake system, etc? Right now I have Hawk HP+ pads, Goodridge SS lines, and running ATE TYP 200 fluid. Stock rotors.
Thanks

If you're not loosing braking power, it's not a problem
Your pads and fluid should be, and sound like they are, sufficient for those temps.

heh...just don't use the brakes as much.
seriously though, it was nice talking to you and hopefully i'll see you around at some other track events.

Did you do a cool down lap? If so, you may have crossed Ate's boiling pt.
You may want to try R4/Blues/P+ if you start glazing your pads.
