Default a better intake manifold??

Does anyone know if there is an intake manifold that makes more power then the JDM Type R intake manifold? Any dyno sites or intake manifold shoot outs would be great. thanks!! Oh and by the way does anyone have an idea of how big a bore the stock JDM Type R throttle bodie is?

Yes. It starts with a "J" and ends with an "A"

With an "m", an "a" and an "s" in between. **not necessarily in that order**

Yes, I was being sarcastic. Seriously though, the JG Victory X manifold would be a good choice. The AEBS IM seems to be a little low end. Golden Eagle has a bling-a-lisous IM but very pricey. I haven't had first hand experiance with any, this is just what I've found while doing some research.

Not sure what the maximum bore on a stock one could be.

If you want, more hp in higher rpms yea. But if you want more hp thru all rpms, the AIR carbon fiber IM is better.

The "JASMA" thing is officially getting old
As far as intake manifolds, I like the JG sheet metal

last time i checked the JG was cast aluminum not sheet metal..

the AIR manifold is the best performing IM you can buy.. it makes more power then any other IM out.. its stays cold and conducts no heat at all.. hard to spring for b/c its pricey like 1,200 bucks.. and the JG is like 250.. so if price is a factory run the JG.. but if you want to go hard or go home get the AIR..

you could also wait for the full-race manifold to come out.. which performs very similar to the endyn AIR manifold, but costs about 400 less.. and the kid who said that the JG is better then the AIR, only in price.. on the chart no way does it perform better in at any rpm range.. the AIR beasts the JG all day..

hope this helps, but search Jeff Evans already did a comparison on all the manifolds i listed..
