claying motor for clearance
I have read the c-speedracing howto on claying your motor for clearance. This is a big concern for me because I have a b16 with CTR pistons and a milled head. I paid a lot for a thick *** cometic head gasket. My question is - if I follow the how-to and torqued down the head on the gasket to press the clay, will i be able to reuse my custom gasket?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Could you? Sure.. Would I? No. You need to get an old used headgasket and do it with that.. Problem is your numbers will be off. Measure the difference in thickness between the old and the new gasket and add that to your clearance numbers and it will get you a little closer to the actuall numbers.
I still don't understand why people keep stuffing these pistons into B16's and B17's.
