CRX race tire pressures
For you 2nd gen CRX racers, have any of you run Kumho Victoracers? I just got a set for the enduro, but I've never run Kumhos before, and have no idea what pressures to run. I used to run my Toyos in the 28lb-30lb (cold) range, but I heard Kumhos need higher pressure. Suggestions for a starting point? Thanks.

Hmmm, not sure how sueful this will be, but ....
in 205/60-13, Kumho USA recommended 35psi hot as a "near optimal" pressure for the first gen RX-7s. Since the CRX weighs a bit less (2200lbs? vs 2500 for the RX-7), you might need a bit less air.

The V700s like about the same pressure as the Toyos. We started with 30psi cold or whatever it would take to get around 39 hot. Best thing to do is take a reading with a pyrometer if you have access to one during a practice session before the race to make sure the temps are ok. I used to race on the Kumhos for a while with a softer spring setup and milder shocks than what the car has now with Hoosiers. With the current dry setup we use for Hoosiers, I tried running on Kumhos for the heck of it in one test day and the car was very difficult to drive. It was so bad that it was close to oversteering even on the straights. So definitely have some practice time before the race to make sure everything works well or to make changes if necessary to the suspension.
