It's equally difficult to undertake either conversion.

Just go with the four lugs, A - Its cheaper and B - Its much lighter than the 5 lug aswell

it's not that much lighter...seriously. are you talking about a 4x114 bolt pattern? i would think the parts would be even easier and cheaper since they were shared with several accord and prelude models of the same time period. but, 5-lug is always much cooler looking and you have an even better selection of wheels and more importantly, brake upgrades.

since a 5 lug and a 4x114.3 would bolt up like OE to a EG, EK, DC, wouldn't you think it is the same amount of work/machining to put them on a DA?

not sure, i've read that you need new LCA's...search over at http://www.g2ic.com
there are some members who have done the work quite nicely, they are most likely HT members as well.

5 Lug is overrated

For a DA, i would go with the 4x114 with white ITR wheels.

Well, the way I see it, you're going to be getting a conversion, regardless, so might as well do the one you want more. Why not just go all the way.

Why not just spend the money on a superior brake upgrade and a set of inexpensive, lightweight wheels?

Do the front 5 lug and the rear 4 lug, that is pure Jasma there.

But really why upgrade? Do you need the brake upgrade? Most wheels you can get in 4x100 and 4x114, unless of course you mean just OEM wheels. 5 lug is cool for a show car, or a serious race car, but for a daily driver is there really much point?

Yah, sorry I couldn't be of any better help. I guess the best thing is to talk to other DA owners and to do more research... maybe ask my homeboy, Ray.
His sn on HT is integrabois1991. Maybe he can give better insight :0)

Your new favorite website. You basically have to machine the new hubs if I remember correctly. Seems like more work/money than its worth.

I've done that before. I've also done 4 lug up front and 5 lug in the back. I haven't done 4 lug on one side and 5 lug on the other though, I believe it would throw the braking off a little too much.

I would also like to do 96 ITR wheels on my DA. I can't find any members with the conversion done. I have a 90-93 accord sitting around for parts and that would be the easiest way right? Any body have any pics or knowledge of this being done?
