mini me woes
heres the story a couple months back I hit some water and hydrolocked my engine as well as flooded the inside of my car. so i built me a nice little mini me swap ya know to keep costs down. i have the motor dropped in i have everything hooked up i even went as far to put the sensors and ignition modual from my old dizzy in a new hosing to match the head i used. i have power and its turning over but im not getting spark and my injectors arent pulsing. I tried a different ECU because i though maybe it got damage by the water but the new ECU did the same ****. WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!
well found out one of the wires on the ignition module was bad so I spliced in a new one and guess what still no spark but the fuel pump is priming now. i just bled the fuel rail and now i got fuel. I still need help trouble shooting for the spark problem so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
i had this problem with my d15b7, check to see if there is any power going to the dizzy when you start it up, if there is, then it is prolly your ignitor..go to ebay and find a whole new dizzy from distributorking.com, they are like $200 shipped overnight
there is power going into the dizzy and i can get it to spark with a straight wire if i ground out the ignition modual myself but it wont spark on its own

are you throwing any codes?
you might try cleaning the buildup off the contacts on the in side of the cap.
what plugs are you using? is the gap correct?
also try pulling a plug out of the engine connect it to the wire and ground the metal to the valve cover or the block while someone cranks on the motor.see if your getting spark that way
EDIT: you almost need to chisle that stuff off the cap
