If you had a Type R and a Type R Tranny and everything needed to put it into your CRX and you wanted to build it up the best way possible to keep it all motor but a hell of a lot fast what exactly would you add to this motor? and what would you be looking at $ wise?

 

skunk2valvetrain and stage 2 cams hondata s100 and fpr 310cc injectors tuned and your good 2 go.

 

your lookin at about 1600 or 1700 $

 

dont forget simple add ons cold air intake header and exhuast maybe a bigger throttle body. the more air it can breath the faster it can go.

The type-r motor stock in a crx is a beast..It already comes stock ready to handle 9000revs..It has a pretty high compression ratio,port and polished head,Big intake manifold..Short geared tranny/w lsd..Maybe just get some nice cams and work on the fuel system..
