Default Daydream Welding

just curious if anyone daydreams while welding. I am a certified welder and i weld all day long and sometime on a long easy position weld i fing myself daydreaming about all kinds of things like my review coming up and my daughter all kinds of things. I think when my lens goes dark i enter a state of relaxedness? or something. i mean i dont go as far to have my welds mess up but mabye its a concentration thing. not sure just curious if anyone else finds themselves thinking about stuff other than welding while welding

same thing happens to me when I weld. I think it is my ADHD and my doctor told me that it happens to most welders that have ADHD

But for some reason when I weld for more than few hours toward the end of the beads I start biting my tongue but I space out when I weld too it must be the gases

the best experience is welding in the nude.

of course i would stick to TIG welding when nude . tried it with MIG once and the sparks burned holes through my *******. OUCH> looks like a cheesecloth now.

i got a new one i noticed myself doing, well just to set the mood i'm known as a goofball at work and prettymuch everywhere else but i caught my self welding the other day with one of the bay doors open which put a glare on the inside of my helmet. i caould then see my face as i was welding so what do i do i start making goofy faces while i'm welding and i start poking my tongue out and blowing up my cheeks and such. by the time i was done with my bead i was cracking myself up, not because of the faces i was making but i was thinking about this thread i had started, i have way to much of an imagination
