which seats fit on which

from my experience 88-89 for sure dun't fit on 90-91 for civics

but now i m getting some 90-91 si civic hatch seats, and i want to put on my 90-91 crx
will that work?

how about some 89 si seats will they fit on my 88 civic hatch?

how about seats off a 4dr sedan will they fit, and which ones?

I recently asked a similar question. Apparently the 90-91 seats will fit in a 88-89 if you swap rails. The bolt holes are the same. I image that this works backwards too.

Uhh, i have a 91 civic and i have seats from a 89 crx and they dont just drop in, and i also have seats from a del sol, they do not drop in, and i also have seats from a 91 civic si, and they dont drop in. the bolt holes are different. i have no clue what seats fit what. I just made a little bracket from a piece of square metal tubing, drilled holes in it, and got some bolts that fit, and it works just fine. doesnt look the best, but if you paint them to match your carpet nobody notices.

 

I just put 90-91 si seats into an 89 dx, matched right up. Only problem was the po had accord seats in there and i had to drill holes to mount. oh well. also i have read once that canadian cars are different .... ours fit, yours don't???
