Default difference in oil pump and water pumps?

well like the title says, I have a lsvtec but I still have a stock bottom, I heard that is good to change the oil pump water pump and timing belt to a vtec, but I want to know if it is better to put a GS-R oil pump and water pump, or is there any more difference on a type-r water pump and oil pump

Both are the same but some people tend to believe the opposite on HT.
